CATHY E. HODGES Valparaiso, Indiana Cathy E. Hodges, 48, of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center. A Valparaiso resident since 1980, coming from Lake Station, she was born August 8, 1958 in Gary to J. C. and Joyce (Minor) Hodges. Cathy graduated from Lake Station High School in 1976 and Valparaiso University in 1980. She had been employed by Nisource, Inc. as Director of Rates, and was a member of WVLP Community Radio in Valparaiso, Taltree Arboretum and Gardens, played Valparaiso Park League softball and Volleyball and enjoyed gardening and travel. Survivors include her parents, J.C. and Joyce Hodges of Valparaiso; brother, Jay (Lynda) Hodges of Portage; sister, Linda (Jim) Lustgarten of Florida; grandmother, Edith Woodworth of Lake Station; nieces, Ashley Urbanek, Haley Hodges and Elizabeth Lustgarten. Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory, a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso, with a memorial service at 4:00 PM, Pastor Roger Hartzler officiating.
