Jim graduated from Yuba City High Schoole, Class of 1955 and attended Yuba College. He joined the Marine Corps in 1957. He retired as a Captain in 1980. He was a Vietnam veteran. Upon retirement from the military, he worked in the mining and drilling industry until 1999. He was an avid golfer, but above all was a dedicated family man.
While serving at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, Jim met and married his wife of 49 years, Eva Ulla-Britta Condrey.
He is survived by his wife and three children: Jimmy W. Condrey Jr., of Live Oak, John L Condrey, (Molly MacHold), of Phoenix, AZ., and Anne Brinkley of Live Oak. As welll as nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom Condrey of Yuba City, John M. Condrey of Marysville, his sister, Emma Nelson of Yuba City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Lee and Emma Mae Condrey .
Funeral services were held April 16, at the Holycross Memorial Services.
