Howard Leroy Cook, my great-uncle, was the third of 3 sons born to William Sidney Pierce Cook (1860-1926) and Clara Eugenia Beddo Cook (1859-1928) - my g-grandparents.
Howard married Nettie Boswell Sullivan (1889-) on October 4, 1911 in Marshall, Texas and had 4 children:
(1) Clara Le Nette Cook Bryan (1912-1993;
(2) Howard Leroy Cook, Jr. (1915-2003);
(3) Jack Sullivan Cook (1916-1978);
(4) Edwin Shelby Cook (1918-1976).
Howard died of pneumonia at age 65 in El Paso. Due to past family quarrels, Howard's brother, my grandfather, Sidney Herbert Cook (1881-1966), had not spoken to Howard in quite a few years when Howard died.
There is apparently no grave marker for Howard at the cemetery.
I would love to communicate with any descendants of this family.
