KILLED BY A FAST TRAIN
East Wheatfield Man Met Death on the Road at Lockport
Charles Fry, son of Mr. an Mrs. James Fry, of East Wheatfield township, was struck and instantly killed by Fast Mail at Lockport on Friday morning. Fry was flagman on local freight, which had stopped at Lockport to allow the fast train to pass, and was attempting to alight from the caboose when he was struck. He was married June 3, to Cora May Trimble, of near Seward, and is survived by his wife, his parents and a number of brothers and sisters. He was 31 years of age, and had been living, since his marriage, in Franklin Borough.
