Michael P. Sullivan was a brakeman and conductor on the railroad. He married Mary Emma MANNING 24 Nov 1886 in Pittsburgh. They were the parents of three sons: William Aloysius, Joseph Patrick and Raymond Thomas. After Emma contracted tuberculosis, her half-sister, Theresa R. JUNKINS came to Pittsburgh to nurse Emma and care for the boys. Emma died 20 Sep 1893. Michael married Tessie 28 Dec 1896 and they had two children: Helen Held and Harold Vincent. Tessie died of tuberculosis 29 November 1900. The disease also took the lives of Helen and Harold. Michael married a third time 18 August 1903 to Mary A. Callaghan, who died in 1914. Michael and his last wife retired to Florida. Michael is the listed owner of the Sullivan family plot at Calvary although records indicate that he is not buried there. It is believed that he died in Florida in 1943. Exact date and place of burial is still unknown.
