John Hoyal McCampbell age 45 of Spring City died Tuesday October 31, 2006. He was born in Rockwood, TN. on May 31, 1961. Johnny was a graduate of Rhea County High School and was a life long resident of Spring City. He was employed as an electrical inspector with TVA and most recently employed with the Dayton Housing Authority. Johnny loved fishing, hunting and playing dulcimers. Survivors include his parents, James and Bertha (McClendon) McCampbell of Spring City, two brothers, Keith (Elizabeth) McCampbell of Spring City and Les (Susan) McCampbell of Graysville, two nieces, Katie and Paige McCampbell and one nephew Nick McCampbell. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 Noon at Hilltop Baptist Church with Rev. Leland Frazier and Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in Add Smith Cemetery followed by a white dove release. The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Wednesday after 5pm.
