MINNIE F. JARRETT
Mrs. Minnie F. Jarrett, 59 (or 69,hard to read), wife of Clifton Jarrett of Knightstown, died in the Henry County Hospital (New Castle, Indiana) Saturday evening after a short illness.
Mrs. Jarrett was born in Spiceland (Indiana) and lived in Knightstown (Indiana) for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Knightstown Methodist Church and belonged to the Pythian Sisters of Knightstown.
Surviving besides the husband are one son, Earl Johnson, and his wife Elizabeth and a grand daughter, Linda, and a grandson, Dale, all of Garden City, Michigan; three stepchildren, Mrs. Mildred Cherry of Lewisville, R. R. 1, Mrs. Lucille Painter of Spiceland and James Jarrett of Indianapolis; 13 step-grandchildren; four nieces, Mrs. L. E. Rogers of Knightstown, Mrs. Joe Duke of Pendleton (Indiana), Mrs. Hubert Hunt and Mrs. Ralph McClarnon of Carthage (Indiana), and two nephews, Guy Rhodes of Carthage and James Ewing of Knightstown.
Funeral services were Tuesday in Knightstown, with Rev. Albert Clarke of Muncie, former pastor of the Knightstown Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Glen Cove Cemetery here.
