Ethel P. Harold, 54, of Barberton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Fairmont on November 15, 1957, daughter of Dorothy Long and Charles Fisher.
Ethel was a loving daughter and hard worker. She worked 17 years in management for Kmart and Home Depot. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Jesuit University. She was a member of the Barberton United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader who loved a good book. Her pets were a special part of her life. She loved all her "little critters."
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Long and her step-father James Long of Benton's Ferry, one sister, Kathy Islam and her husband Pinto of Benton's Ferry, one brother, Chris Long and his wife Trista of Whitehall, her nephews, Adam and Armani, and her nieces, Ary, Nitehi and Ajila.
Also surviving are her cousins, Nancy and John English and family of Columbus, Ohio, Bobby Vincent of St. Louis, Missouri, Kathy Martin of Pittsburgh, Ed Martin of Negley, Ohio, Peter Menonchick of Fairmont, Esther Aquirre and family of Louisiana as well as many more loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lula P. and Albert Harold and her great-grandparents, Curtis and Ethel P. Vincent.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body has been cremated.
The family will receive friends at the Benton's Ferry Church on Saturday from 11 am – 1 pm. A memorial service will be held at Benton's Ferry Church on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1 pm with Pastor Andrew Tennant presiding.
Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown.
