Doris Attyah Thomas, 73, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 10-11am on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Forest United Methodist Church with a Funeral Mass following at 11:00am. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest will be handling arrangements.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Forest for many years. She worked with the Friends of the Library in Forest and she also worked at Forest Department Store with her husband, Bobby. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Mamie Thomas McLaughlin (Patrick) of Helena, AL; granddaughter, Madison McLaughlin and a sister, Evelyn Mansour of LaGrange, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Attyah and Mamie Salloum Attyah and brother, Fred Attyah.
