The Funeral for Phyliss C. Miller,77 who died December 28,1994 at Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center,Salina, will be Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home,Solomon. The Rev. Garlen H. Howington will officiate, and burial will be in the Prairie Mound Cemetery, Solomon.

She was born January 22,1917, in Eureka, the daughter of Alfred Lee and Lula Jewell(Fleeman) Pennington. She grew up in Eureka and attended local schools.
On January 23,1934, she married George Miller in Newkirk, Oklahoma.
They lived in Bennington, El Dorado and Eureka before they moved to Solomon in 1975.
He died in 1979 and she moved to Salina where she made her home. A year ago, she moved to the Kenwood Nursing Home Salina.
A son Jerry Miller, and a sister Dortha Jean Lewis, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are seven sons, Donald Miller of Abilene, James Miller,Phillip Miller, Michael Miller,and Daniel Miller, all of Salina,Elmer Miller of Stockton,Mo, and Patrick Miller,Solomon; Five daughters,Dortha Trouslot, Newton, Lana Weburg, Shirley Jensen and
Pamela Williams, all of Salina, And Jayne Jaimes,of Overland Park; 40 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren
