Daily Democrat, Clinton MO, Sep 6 2005 - Ronnell A. Clay, 62, Clinton, died Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 10, at Solid Rock Church. Cremation, under the direction of Consalus Funeral Home. He was born July 1, 1943, in Kansas City, son of Myron Sr. and Orelia Clark Clay. He was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist Church and later converted to the Solid Rock Church. He had dedicated his life to helping others serving as a counselor for AA and NA. Preceding him in death was his parents, one son and one stepdaughter, Regina R. Wrotten. Survivors include his son Ronnell Simon; one brother Myron Clay Jr.; one sister Cozette Clay-Trent; stepchildren, John C. Graves, Howard K. Simon, Emil M. Simon, Averial J. Jacobs, plus numerous other family members and friends.
