Maude E. Craft
Maude E. Craft, the little daughter of Frank Craft, was born May 5th, 1904, and died at the home of her uncle, John Craft, Oct. 5th, 1909, aged 5 years and 5 months. The little one was stricken with diphtheria a few weeks ago and never fully recovered from the dread disease, gradually growing weaker until Jesus saw fit to take her unto Himself where sickness and death never enter. Maude was a loving obedient little child, loved by all who new her, and while we deeply feel our loss we would not call her back. Rev. Henderson conducted the funeral services at the home of her uncle Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the little one was laid to rest in the Burlingame Cemetery by the side of her mother and little little brother who passed away a few weeks ago. She leaves a father and two little sisters, besides relativey [sic] and friends. May God bless those who mourn.
