Nelson "Butie" Burke, 81, died at 3:30 A.M., Sunday in the home of Claude Master. He was born March 31, 1877. His parents died when he was young. Mr. Burke lived with the David Kline family of Mount Joy until 1915 when he came to Lamartine and made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Master until their death. He continued to live in the home with Claude Master and his son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. William McLendon. At one time he was a member of the Salem Reformed Church but later joined the Church of the Nazarene in St. Petersburg. The body is in the Crisswell Funeral Home, Emlenton.
