Pauline Brick died at age 73 on a Monday evening at 10:15 p.m. Her parents had emigrated from Siegenland, Westphalia County, Prussia (now Germany). She lived in Marystown until age 26. She married John Brick in November 1874 (age 18); in 1882 she and her husband John and family moved to a farm near Eden Valley. John and Pauline had 10 children. He passed in 1904; in 1915 Pauline moved to Waite Park where she remained until her death. She and her husband John are both buried in Assumption Cemetery, Eden Valley.

Pauline is survived by her children, Mrs. William Hammes, Aldrich MN, Mrs. Margaret Bauer, Eden Valley, William Brick, Grey Eagel, Mrs. Gerhard Heibel, Eden Valley, Mrs. August Hukriede, Eagle Bend, Mrs. Howard Stabler, Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs Jerry Stelten, Rogers , North Dakota, Mrs. William Buckley, Chicago, Illinois, Peter Brick, Waite Park, and John Brick, Minneapolis. Peter Brick was unable to attend the funeral due to illness. Pallbearers were grandsons, Emil Perisian, Archie Dunn, Jennings Hukriede, John Bauer, Mike Bauer and Clarence Heibel.

Pauline's brothers and sisters included Bill (New Market), Henry (Marystown) and Peter Schneider, and sisters, Mrs. Pauline Brick (Eden Valley) and Mrs. Nick Young.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Margaret Cochrane, Mrs. Frank Eartel, M/M Barney Debber, Waite Park, Mrs. Mike Bauer, Sr. Mrs. Wirtzfeld, M/M Martin Dombroske and Walter Dombroske, St Cloud, M/M Louis Hasling, M/M Nick HOmmerding, Cold Spring, M/M Peter Hennen, Roscoe, Mike Lies, M/M John Lies, Watkins, M/M Ed Lardy and Daniel Lardy, Lake Henry, alma Dombroske, Minneapolis, M/M Emil Perisian & son, aldrich, Mrs. Mary Schneider, Marystown MN.
