Michael loved the time he was able to spend with his children and family. He also enjoyed working at Remington Car Wash in Battle Creek.
Michael is survived by his parents Pam (Rod) Parson of Battle Creek, Jim VanBuskirk of Lansing, children Zuria, Jordan, Tucker, and Payton, sister Rachel Parson, Niece Adriona, nephew De'Andre, grandmother Betty Rivera of Lansing, grandfather Mython Parson of Battle Creek, special aunt Myra, best friend "Sissy" Lisa (Bill) Bolton, Paula, Tina Rivera, and many aunts, uncles, and friends. Michael was preceded in death by grandparents Mike and Rosie McKeague, Joe Rivera, Gloria Parson, aunts Diana McKeague, Tracy Parson, and Shron Overton.
Funeral services to celebrate Mike's life were held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Farley-Estes & DowdleFuneral Home, officiated by the Reverend Robert G. Muirhead. Interment was at Lyon Lake Cemetery.
