Nay "Jack" Jackson, Jr. of Owensville, Mo. departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Frene Valley Healthcare South in Owensville. He had reached the age of 77 years, eight months and 28 days. Nay was born in Annapolis, Mo. on January 28, 1936 to the late Nay and Dalena (Sutton) Jackson. On January 16, 1962 in St. Louis he was united in marriage to Anna Lou Quick. He had served his country with the United State Army. He was retired from Chrysler, had driven a bus for Head Start, was a member of National Bowling Assn., member of Owensville Golf Course, member of Senior Olympics and was employed at Lost Valley Lake until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Troy Jackson. His survivors include his wife Anna Lou; daughter, Patricia O'Hara of Oelwein, Iowa; son, Jackie Jackson of King George, Virginia; brothers, Ray Jackson and wife Gerlinda of Festus, Roy Jackson and wife Kay of Springfield, Gary Jackson and wife Sue of Herculaneum, Terry Jackson of St. Louis and Roger Jackson of Herculaneum; sisters, Virginia Basch of Festus, Delores Jackson and significant other Mick Faifer of DeSoto, Brenda Brickner and husband Dave of Arnold, Sharon McMunn and husband Ed of Bonne Terre and Sandy Medley of Festus; sister-in-law, Sue Roy of Springfield, grandchildren, April O'Hara of Owensville, Michael O'Hara of Springfield, Heather Jackson of DeSoto and Anthony Jackson of Belle and by three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on October 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. Terry Knight officiating. Burial will be in the Countryside Memorial Gardens. Visitation for the public will be on Tuesday beginning at 4:00 p.m.
