Christopher was the son of John Alexander Kulbeth and Julia Trousdale. He died about 1865 on the family farm. he was accidently shot by his father. His father had lost two children in a short period of time. He became very depressed and often threatened Suicide. Julia hid all the weapons, including Guns, Knives, Axe, etc. One morning she noticed a bulge in John's pocket as he went out the door. She sent Christopher out to check and see what John had found. It was a pistol. They struggled over the gun, It went off. Christopher dropped dead. John immediately turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger. They both were buried in the family Cemetery on the farm. That cemetery has been destroyed.
