Amiel P. "A.P." Coley, 87 of Glencoe, Etowah County, Alabama, was born in Cullman, but lived in Glencoe all of his life. He was a farmer known across Etowah and Calhoun County as a fair and honorable man to do business with. All of his interests were closely related to his love of family and agriculture. He was a kidney-transplant patient of 27 years, given the gift of renewed life by his sister Doris. He served in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; William Hicks Coley and Lizzie Estes Coley; grandson, T.J. Wright; brothers, Elvis, Fayne and J.T. Coley. He is survived by his wife; Marie Walker Coley; children, Dianne (David) Wright, Randy (Flora) Coley, Cindy (Tom) Long, and Jon (Anna) Coley; grandchildren. Cremation provided by Glencoe-Hokes Bluff FH and Cemetery.
