Bethel, Sept. 11 -- Interment of the body of Miss Marguerite Stephenson, aged 53, was made in Bethel cemetery Sunday at noon by Undertaker Tegeler of Damascus, with Rev. Benjamin Ashton of the Presbyterian church officiating. Miss Stephenson died Thursday, Sept. 7, at her home in Newark, where a house service was held Saturday evening.
She was born at Hurd in this township, a daughter of Fred Stephenson and Margaret Pinney, who died respectively 48 years ago and seven years ago. Her father was the youngest brother of Capt. John T., David and George Stephenson.
Miss Stephenson leaves a sister and two brothers -- Mrs. Porter Ross and John Stephenson of Newark and Edward Stephenson of East Orange.
