Thelma F. McClaflin, 86, died Sept. 20,2 014, at Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.

She was born Dec. 2, 1927, at Attica, Kansas the daughter of Brice and Dora Kiser Hacker. A resident of Kingman most of her life, she was a homemaker and a former co-owner/operator of A-1 Auto.

She attended the First Baptist Church, and was a longtime member of the Rebekah Lodge, both of Kingman.

On July 13, 1946, she married Clyde W. McClaflin, Jr., at Kingman; he died Sept. 5, 2012. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Darwin and JoAnn, and Dallas and Carolyn; three daughters and their husbands, Sherry and Allen Freeman, Diana and Ken Mendenhall and Sondra and Kenny Reiger; sister-in-law Pauline Hacker; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Sharon Faye McClaflin; brothers Harold and Lewis Hacker; and sisters Murtis Sinnett and Leatha Patterson.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Attica Cemetery, Attica, Kansas.
