Mattie Sue Horton, 85, passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. A private family memorial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.
Mattie Sue was born in Pottsville, Ark. on Sept.12,1927 to Thurman Elmer Rackley and Hettie Ona Speer Rackley.
Mattie retired from Castle Tile in 1987.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Angie McClain and Leeora Bryant from Advantz Home Care and to Becky Davis and Leeza Crowder from Hospice Plus for all of the loving care and joy they gave to Mattie during her illness.
Mattie was preceded in death by her parents Thurman and Hettie Rackley, her husbands Ramon Miller and Leo Horton.
Surviving are her sons, Mike Miller, Randy Miller and wife Diane, and Gary Miller and wife Valerie; daughters; Marla Norton and husband Roger and Susan England; sister, Eula Thompson; grandchildren, Rachel, Travis, Chad, Jeremy, Toby, Madison, and Harrison; great-grandchildren; Faith, Ayden, Mason, Kaley and Payton.
