OBITUARY NOTICES

HALE, VIOLA E - Mrs. Viola E. Hale, 54, of 11305 Lowe Dr., Lamont, died Saturday, Jan. 18, in a Bakersfield hospital following a prolonged illness.

She was born in Dyer, Ark., and had lived in Lamont for the past 14 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the H. R. Borgsdorf Mortuary chapel in Arvin Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Arnold Niemeyer will officiate. Interment will be in the Arvin Cemetery.

Mrs. Hale is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Kincy of Arvin and Mrs. Dolores Pollard of Lamont; two sons, Erman Hale of Edwards and John Hale of Santa Monica; a sister, Mrs. Virgie Davis of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Chester Thomas of Gridley, George Wese of Arkansas and Leo Wese of Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren.
