Daughter of William Hamilton "Hamp" Williams and Priscilla Newport. Sister to Serena Williams Fortner, Mr. John Williams, Rebecca "Becky" "Becca" Ann Williams Cunningham, Nancy Williams Hill, and Susan Emma "Emily" Williams Cunningham.

Clarcy Williams married James A. Craig on 3 Oct 1876 in Union County, Tennessee. They were married by James' brother-in-law, Justice of the Peace Franklin P. Miller. Together Clarcy and James had 3 children of which 2 lived beyond infancy. The 2 children that lived beyond infancy were Mr. James "Jim" Craig and Mr. George Franklin "Frank" Craig.

Clarcy was struck and killed by a train at Depot #13 in Whitley County, Kentucky.
