David (Davy) Clair Gardner, 55 a resident of Pendleton, passed away Sunday January 17, 2010 from an aneurysm. He was born in The Dalles, Oregon on Dec. 22, 1954 to Dale and Carol (Gardner) Graham. Dave was later adopted by his step father Lewis Gardner and raised on Eight Mile Road with his 3 siblings. He attended Petersburg Grade School and graduated from The Dalles High School in 1973.
He continued his life in The Dalles raising one daughter and having numerous jobs. He moved to Pendleton in 2000. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church, involved with the Salvation Army and donated blood. With Dave's passing he is saving the lives of many people by donating his organs. His last job was his most rewarding. He spent time taking care of his mother. They spent countless hours watching his favorite sport football. Dave made several trips to California to also spend time with his daughter and four grandchildren.

He is survived by his Mother Carol Gardner, Father & Step Mother Dale and Carmen Graham, Step Mother-Roxanne Gardner Daughter-Tori Gardner and Grandchildren- Dylan, Destiny, Jasmine and Mallorie; Siblings- Sam Gardner, Joni Thomas, Nancy Reed, Kathleen Graham & Julie graham, Tonia Smith & Christy Merrill and Longtime companion- Eloise Duarte. He was proceeded in death by his Step Father Lewis Gardner.
