A Buffalo Man Puts a Bullet in His Brain

CONWAY, Mo., Oct. 16th--Taylor Crane who lives on the Phillipsburg and Buffalo road about eight miles this side of Buffalo was found dead by the roadside Monday morning. Mr. Crane left home early in the morning to look for his cattle, taking his gun along. He was found in the forenoon dead with a bullet hole through his head the body lying on the rifle gun. The ball had entered his skull just back of and above the right ear and had come out near the same position on the opposite side of the head. The coroner's jury returned a verdict of death from the gun shot wound by an unknown hand. No cause is known that would have made him commit suicide.
