This should be Emma E (Barber) Bixby, wife of Joel Bixby. She was born 4 Jun 1873 in Kedington, Suffolk, England and married Joel Bixby 16 Apr 1892 in Corinth, Orange, Vermont and after Joel Bixby died 8 Jun 1914 in Topsham, Orange, Vermont, she married 2nd Henry Edgar Whitehill 25 Oct 1920 in Newbury, Orange, Vermont. She died 27 Sep 1959 in South Ryegate, Caledonia, Vermont and was buried in Oxbow Cemetery. [listed originally as Anna from the index for Groton Hill/Bixby Cemetery]

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Whitehill, 86, were held in First Congregational Church Wednesday afternoon of last week at 2 o'clock. Rev. Myron Wilder and Rev. Ralph Benson officiating clergymen. Bearers were Clyde Davidson, Albert Merrill, Earl Hastings and Roy Bixby. Burial was in Oxbow Cemetery. Miss Emma Barber was born June 4, 1873 at Kedington, Suffolk, England, one of 10 children of Charles and Ann Bowyer Barber. All the family came to America except three. Miss Emma Barber came in 1889 when she was 16 years old. Miss Barber and Joel Bixby were married and to them were born six children; Wilbur, (deceased); Margaret, Mrs. Squire Taylor; Mary, Mrs. Samuel Ricker; Ellen, Mrs. Alex Page (deceased); Nelson; and Olive, Mrs. James Whitehill. They lived for many years at Corinth and Topsham. Her second marriage was to Henry Whitehill and they lived on the farm known as the "Hermitage" near South Ryegate. Mr. Whitehill died in 1931. Mrs. Whitehill had made her home with her daughter, Olive, for the past several years.
Survivors beside the four children are 17 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. John Smith, South Newbury, and Mrs. Warren Wheeler, Haverhill, N.H., and two brothers, Harry, North Thetford, and William, Concord, N.H.
