Mary Arlene Eller, age 85, of Canton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. She was born Aug. 20, 1927 in Canton, Ohio to the late Albert and Marie Schoeppner. Arlene graduated from Caldwell High School Class of 1945. She worked in the Cafeteria for Canton City Schools for 15 years and owned her own Tax Business. Arlene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Canton. Alter-Rosary Society, Catholic Order for Foresters and St. Mary's Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Eller; second husband, James Law; brothers Ralph, Norman and Melvin Schoeppner.
Arlene is survived by her sons, Oval (Lorena) Eller of Canton, Arvin Eller of Canal Fulton and Albert (Jody) Eller of Alliance; daughters, Connie (Roger) Peters of Canton and Wilda (Raymond) Terry of Louisville; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Cletus Schoeppner of Zanesville, Howard Schoepper and Vernon of Caldwell, Ohio; sisters, Vera Doll of Indianapolis, Ind., Leona Schell of Columbus, Ohio and Delores Snyder of Caldwell, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church of Canton, 1602 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH 44707 with Rev. Fr. Donald Feicht celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m.
