Mrs. Gambrell died Tuesday morning in Oak Haven Funeral Home.
A native and lifelong resident of Anderson County, Mrs Gambrell was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Lera Everett Rhodes. She was a member of the Brushy Creek United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons Robert Southard of Arlington and Everett Southard of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Benton of Palestine and Mrs. Barbara Holt of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers L.C. and George Rhodes of Brushy Creek; four sisters, Mrs. Mollie Holland of Talco, Mrs. T.F. Parrish of Brushy Creek, Mrs. Ruby George of San Angelo, and Mrs. Louise Musemeche if Houston and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roy Herrington, Richard Coleman, R.J. Goodman, M.E. Thornton, Ira Bristow, Sammy Overton, Ricky Musemeche, and John Spurlock.
