Brown was a native of the Brickyard Community, FL, living there his entire life. He was retired from the Franklin County Sheriff's Department, formerly employed with Florida Division of Forestry, Carrabelle City Police, a sawmill operator, and was of Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Nadine "Dobbie" Brown of Brickyard; one daughter, Debbie Brown of Tallahassee; one son Daniel Creamer of Eastpoint, FL: a brother Benny Brown, of Brickyard; and one granddaughter, Amy Price of Daytona Beach, FL
Funeral services were held September 16, 1997 at Brown Cemetery, with interment in Brown Cemetery.
