Mr. George A. Baum, the son of the late Thomas and Rose Leavins Baum was born March 16, 1938 in olla, Louisiana.
He was 75 years old.
Mr. Baum went to be with the lord on Monday march 25, 2013 at his home outside of Riverside, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Ruth Baum and two sons; George Douglas and Donald Wade Baum. and 6 brothers; Calvin, Ralph, Huston, Huey, Duey and James Baum all from Louisiana, and his puppy Sassy that passed on 3-26-2013.
Survivors include his kids: a son; Thomas Baum and daughters; Denice and her Husband Stan James: Debbie Baum, and two Brothers from Louisiana, Carl Baum and Archie Baum. Two grandsons Royce and his wife Jona Baum, Justin Baum, one Granddaughter: Christine Baum. One Step-grandson Mathew and his wife Kristin James. Two great-grand kids; Jesse James and Kayla Baum.
A special thank you to all the staff at the odyssey hospice and to our cousins Dub and Sharon Baum and a nephew Frank Munsinger.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Missionary Baptist Church located on Hwy 94 in Trinity, Texas. with burial to follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery in Trinity, Texas.
The family will have a visitation Wednesday night from 6:00 pm - 8:00 PM at the Brooke Funeral Home Chapel FM 980-Huntsville, Texas.
