Mildred Newman, 87
Mildred "Dottie" Newman, 87, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Tuesday, June 30, 1998, at Good Samaritan Center.
Born Jan. 10, 1911, in Rushville, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Edith (Abernathy) Clevenger. She spent her years growing up in Rushville. She had been married to Joseph Clevenger, George Myers and Delbert W. Newman, all of whom pre-ceded her in death. She had lived in Indiana until 1941 when her family moved to Idaho Falls, living there and the Twin Falls area since. She was a member of the Christian for Revival Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, where she was a Sunday School superintendent.
Surviving are three sons: Joe Clevenger and Delbert Newman, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and George Myers of Green Valley, Ariz.; two daughters: Barbara Hall of Rigby, Idaho, and Janet (Mrs. Lester) Miller of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a brother: Earl Clevenger of Rushville; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren,
and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Revival Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 4475 N. Ammon Rd., Idaho Falls, Idaho. with Pastor Earl Johnson officiating. Interment will be at the Ammon Cemetery in Ammon, Idaho. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. The arrange-ments are being handled by Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
