Marlow - Funeral for Eva Mae Benson, 93, who died Wednesday in a Marlow hospital, will be at 10:30 am Friday in First Baptist Church in Marlow with the Rev. Bob Hinson officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
Mrs. Benson was born Dec 24, 1889 in Paris, TX. She had lived in Marlow for 32 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a past member of the Marlow Rebekah Lodge. She married Barney Benson August 4, 1910 in Paris. He died Dec 21, 1952.
Survivors included three sons: Harry, Northridge, Calif., Wallace, Duncan, and Benny, Nashville, Tenn.; three daughters: Louise Lassiter, Fort Smith, Ark., Melba McElroy, Ada, and Paula Keene, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
