Freelove Cornutt married Robert Haynes Stewart on July 2, 1843 in Floyd Co., GA. The Stewarts moved to Texas in 1851 or 1852, settling in Milam Co. They had at least six children, the first three born in Georgia, the last three born in Texas. Their names were Mary Elizabeth (Stewart) Alley, born Jan. 18, 145 in Rome, Floyd Co., GA; Sarah Evelyn "Sallie" (Stewart) Fisher, born April 25, 1847, in GA.; Noah Adolphus " "Bud" Stewart, born Jan. 4, 1849 in GA.; Hiram Stewart, born ca. 1852 in Milam Co., TX; William Robert "Joe" Stewart, born July 24, 1855, Milam Co., TX and Albert Stewart, born ca. 1859 in Milam Co., TX.
Freelove (Cornutt) Stewart died on Oct. 23, 1860 and is buried on private land near Liberty Community, Milam Co., Texas.
