He was born on September 12, 1933 in Marion County, Alabama, the son of William Cay Cook and Mary Rich Cook. He was a machinist.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 26, 1993 at 11 am from the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with burial in the Ballard Cemetery, Marion Co. AL. Hudon Cochran and Allen Myrick were the officiating ministers.
Survivors include one daughter - Tommie Sue Cook, Guin; two sons - Charles Cook and William J. Cook, both of Hamilton; mother - Mary Cook, Adrian, Michigan; two brothers - William Cook, Jr., Adrian, MI, and Hoyt Cook, Hamilton; and four sisters - Geraldine Warren, Hamilton, Marcine Baldwin, Adrian, MI, Helen Miller, Tecumesh, MI, and JoAnn Wusthoff, Saline, Mi.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
