He worked at New York Central Rail Road and Texmark. Joseph was a shoe maker for many years in East Syracuse, New York. He leaves behind many friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Papaianni; his children, Marieanne, Bruce, John (Debbie) Papaianni, Joseph Michael Papapianni and Tom Papaianni; his brothers, Anthony, Frank and Nazarene; sisters, Mary Papaianni and Carm LaFair; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, James; sisters, Catherine Knowles and Minnie Papaianni; his brother, Fred and daughter-in-law, Kay Papaianni.
There will be a memorial service in his honor held at Loretto Chapel at a time and date to be posted.
