Jordan married (2) Elizabeth Winchester on January 30 1851. His 2nd wife died about 1868-1869 at Foster Crossroads in Tennessee; (3) Sippy Spradling about 1852; and (4) Mary Ann Slaven about 1871. There may have been other wives.

From Les Byrd (FAG Contributor #48460681)
"He married Elizabeth A. Winchester Jan 30, 1851 in Wayne County, KY and Mary Ann Slaven Nov 27, 1870 in Huntsville, Scott County, TN"
----------------------
At his request, Jordon is buried on the mountain above the corn field on his homestead in the wilderness area known as No Business (now part of Scott Co., Tennessee). His is one single grave with a hand hewn marker that was almost illegible when found and photographed in 2003 by Dorothy Slaven on a visit to the site with Caney Boyatt and Christine Boyatt. (The dark spot in the center is where Christine poured her drink on the inscription to try to make it easier to read.) His tombstone stands there alone, inscribed "Jurdan Boyatt 1828 - 1900".

Although he was born in Kentucky and died in what is now Scott Co., Tennessee he didn't actually move.. . the state line did. You can find details on that under details of the disputed lands resulting from the "Walker Line" on almost any history of Scott Co., Tennessee. (A surveying error caused the TN/KY State Line to go back and forth several times.)
