Obituary of Tommy Salters
(1939 ~ 2011)

Kiln, Ms ~ Tommy Salters, age 72, of Kiln, passed away on December 22, 2011 at his residence.

He retired as the Public Works Director for the City of Long Beach and enjoyed spending time on his property with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rube and Mildred Salters, his sister, Judy Durel, and 2 children, Jennifer Salters and Rowland Salters.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Salters, and Valerie (Donnie) Smith, the mother of his children, Shirley Salters, 3 grandchildren, Dustin Saucier, Devin Schonewitz, and Denzel Payton, 1 great-grandchild, Mackenzie Saucier, and numerous other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 - 10 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, Commission Road, Long Beach, and the funeral will be at 10 am in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be in Allen Cemetery.
