Princeton, Bonnie L. Flaig, 59, of 229 North Vernon Street, Princeton died on the morning of January 9, 2001 in her home. Services will be at 11am Friday in Bureau Congregational Church. The Rev. Robert Allen will officiate. Burial will be at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday in Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton.
Mrs. Flaig was born February 11, 1941 in Spring Valley to LeRoy Cherry and Ann F. Foos. She married Gottlob Flaig on September 24, 1961, in DuPue Congregational Church. She was a member of Bureau Congregational Church and The Ladies Aid. She also worked in housekeeping for Super 8 motel in Princeton. Survivors are her husband, two daughters, Laurie (Dennis) Eckberg of Inverness and Nancy (Troy) Perryman of Elmwood; three sons, Roy (Rebecca) Flaig of Clarksville, Tenn., Mike ( Carol) Flaig of Gurnee and Jim (Jennifer) Flaig of Peoria; seven grandchildren; a brother, Leon (Dorothy) Carlson of Spring Valley; and two sisters, Jean Wasilewski of Peru and Doris Pinter of Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Memorials may be directed to the Bureau Congregational Church or donor's choice.

PRINCETON - Gottlob R. "Rolly" Flaig, 65, of 229 N. Vernon St. died at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2001, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born Dec. 12, 1935, in Princeton to Gottlob R. and Eunice G. Dean Flaig, he married Bonnie Cherry on Sept. 24, 1961, in DePue. She died Jan. 9, 2001. He also was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Surviving are two daughters, Laurie (and Dennis) Eckberg of Inverness and Nancy (and Troy) Perryman of Elmwood; three sons, Roy (and Rebecca) of Clarksville, Tenn., Mike (and Carol) of Gurnee and Jim (and Jennifer) of Peoria; two sisters, Ella (and Richard) Mahnke and Anna Flaig, both of Princeton; one brother, Robert Reidel of Lake Bluff; and eight grandchildren. He was an Army veteran serving from 1958 to 1962. He worked for Co-op Supply Co. and later for LTV Steel for 28 years. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1339 in Princeton. He also was a member of Bureau Congregational Church, where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert Allen will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 9 tonight at Norberg Memorial Home. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to his church or any charity.
