SCOTTDALE-Elyet Ream Leasure, 84, of 206 Mulberry St., died at 8 a.m. Friday in his home after a long illness, He was born April 19, 1877, in Kittanning, a son of the late William and Jane Ream Leasure. He was a retired glass burner at the Smith Glass Co., of Mount Pleasant. He was charter member of the First EUB Church of Scottdale and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America Lodge. His wife Anna Crabtree Leasure, died in 1958. Surviving are a son, Sylvus P. Leasure of Mount Pleasant, R.D. 2; a daughter, Mrs. Goldanna Wolfe of Scottdale; five grandchildren; a brother, Harvey Leasure of Niles, Ohio; a half-brother, Torrance Leasure of Pittstown, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Hazel McKissock of Greensburg and Mrs. Lottie Hull of Uniontown. The body is in the Ferguson funeral home where the funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. James D. Mowrey. Burial will be in Alverton Cemetery.
