ROBERSON Mrs. Henrietta Grant Roberson was born on September 11, 1925 in Sumter, South Carolina to William Grant and Fannie Grant. She was reared by her uncle and aunt, Owen and Frances Grant in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended the local schools of Duval County. She later met and married Mr. David E. Roberson, Sr. She was employed by the Duval County School Board for 33 years. She was an active member for over 70 years at St. Stephen AME Church where she served faithful in the United Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, David Roberson, Sr.; a son, Alphonso R. Roberson; and 2 grandchildren, Clarence Mack, Jr. and Shawnique Perry. She is survived by her children, David E. Roberson, Jr., William L. Roberson (Yutok), Diana R. Perry (Willie), Cynthia Mack (Clarence); grandchildren, Delores Sandeen (David), Wil'Neishea Burwell (Bruce), Shantrell Mack and Wil'Sean Perry; great-grandchildren, Asia, Kenneth and Christopher Sandeen, Gabrielle Burwell, Eve Sanders, Shaunie Perry; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mrs. Roberson will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of friends on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 5-8PM and the day of service from 9AM until the hour of service. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23 at 10:00AM in the St. Stephen AME Church. Interment will be in Beaches Memorial Park. Professional services provided by HOLMES-GLOVER-SOLOMON FUNERAL
