Linda S. Cochran Glover, 57, of Plum Run Community, Mannington, died Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2011) at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 3, 1954 in Fairmont, a daughter of Fred Cochran Jr. of Uniontown, Pa., and Laura Boord Cochran of Farmington.
Linda was employed for 13 years with the Marion County Board of Education, having last worked at the Marion County Technical Center. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, garden­ing, fishing and camping with her family at Big Bear Lake.
Survivors include her daugh­ter, Amie Glover and fiancé Tim Boore of Rachel; three granddaughters who were her life and whom she loved to spend time with, Dezirea Ann, Mallori RaeLynn and Ava Jewell Boor; a sister, Kim Robinson and husband Leonard of Farmington, and their chil­dren, Jeremy, Travis and Jeffrey Boord; two brothers, Dennis and Diane Cochran of Alaska, and children Theresa and Sue, and Ted Cochran and friend Mike Corder of Galloway; additional brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Greg and Diana Glover and children, Aaron, Ethan and Emily, Jeff and Lori Glover, and Judy and Gary Joe Toothman and children, Mandy and Mark Toothman, all of Plum Run; several additional nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special family friends, Larry Riggs, Jim Garrett, Denise and Perry Rice, Chelsea Haymond and Serena Earl.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Glover, who died Aug. 14, 2011; and her father's longtime com­panion, Susie. Friends may call at Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington from 2-9 p.m. Friday, where funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday with Pastor Chris Duckworth officiating. Cremation will follow.
