Former area resident dies in San Fransisco.
W. Keith Hoover JR., 32, of Monte Rio, Calif., died Thursday at Legunda Honda Hospital in San Fransisco, Calif., after a brief illness.
He was the son of William K. Hoover and step-son of Marybell J. Hoover of Rochester. He was a graduate of Rochester Area High School and was in the Navy before moving to California,
Survivors include his mother in Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Melinda Nelson of Reno, Nev., and Kimberly Johnson of Orange Park, Fla.; a brother, James of East Brady, Pa.; his paternal grandmother, Frances Hoover of Kittanning; and five nieces.
The funeral and burial were in California. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association of the First United Prebyterian Church, East Washington Street, Rochester.
