She was born on Jan. 23, 1918, to John and Cora (Langley) Ennis.A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Pettyfs Chapel Baptist Church in Corsicana with Brother Sonny Buie officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Pettyfs Chapel Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 126, Corsicana, TX 75151.Nanny was a seamstress for most of her life. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked to sit on her front porch and watch the world go by.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, W.G. Holleman; her sons, Tommy and Ronnie Webber; her daughter, Linda Perkins; and her granddaughter, Natalie Renae Perkins. She is survived by her granddaughter and husband, Pam and Jerry Glidewell of Eureka; her very special great-granddaughter, Lauren Glidewell of Eureka; her very special nieces, Cleo Davis of Arlington and Vera Satterfield of Georgetown; her daughter-in-law, Pat Webber of Quitman; her grandsons and wives, Ronnie Jr. and Sheila Webber and Shane and Lisa Webber of Quitman; and her granddaughter and husband, Debbie and Michael Gilpin of Quitman; numerous great-grandchildren, family, and friends.Nanny will always be remembered for her love and generosity. She had a rough last year after the loss of her husband and we are so thankful that she is now with her family in the presence of her Savior. We also rest assured in the promise of Jesus that we will be with her again. The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Kent Rogers, Heritage Oaks Retirement Village and to Family First Hospice for the kindness and love that they showed to her, especially in her last days.An online guest book is available at by selecting the Obal Dean Holleman obituary.Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. ‡
