Burt is the son of Quirl William Myers and Pearl Esther (Trabue) Myers.
He married, Dolores Marie (Naggas), April 7, 1950. Dolores was a childhood friend. This marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. they wre married for 57 years.

Quirl Burton Myers passed away on July 31, 2007. Quirl was born on February 25, 1929 in Los Angeles, California, the first of four children. His parents were Quirl William Myers and Pearl Esther Trabue Myers. He married Dolores Marie Naggas, a childhood friend, on April 7, 1950. This marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple. Quirl and Dolores were married for 57 years and lived in Covina, California; Running Springs, California; and most recently Provo, Utah.
Quirl was a man of many talents, and excelled at all of them. He was a professional artist and left a legacy of beautiful artwork for us to remember him by. He tried to instill his passion for art in his children and grandchildren. He taught art at Chaffey High School in Ontario, California for many years.
Quirl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he held many leadership positions there, and loved to study the gospel. He loved to paint religious paintings and put many hours of research into them. One of his paintings hangs in the permanent collection of the Church Museum of History and Art in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Surviving is, Dolores, his wife, four children; Quirl Bradlee Myers (Carmen), Tanya Cousino, Dawn Nelson (Kim), and Cherie Hansen (David). Eleven grandchildren; Quirl Sean Myers, Jenny Truncellito, Wendy Jackson, Dolores Myers, Jordan Cousino, Micah Hansen, Quirl Jacob Hansen, Sierra Baird, Benjamin Hansen, Kaela Hansen, and Sara Hansen, and two great-granddaughters, Kylie Truncellito and Kenzy Truncellito. He is also survived by a sister, Doris Briggs, of Ukiah, California.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East, Provo. Family and Friends are to meet at the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We love you, Dad.
