When she first came into my life she slept on my shoulder. She would walk with me by my side without a leash to check the mail.
She owned the arm at each end of the couch.
I know I did the right thing in putting her down. It wasn't easy though. I guess that's how you know how much she means to you though.
I'll miss the pillow stuffing all over the back yard. How when you realized I was home and would find out you would go off the couch and into your bed. That you would go to your crate when you knew I had to leave or to the front door if I was going to the mail box.
I often thought of what you were thinking. On that morning, did you know what was happening? Did you know how much it hurt? Will I see you again?
