Dorothy June Pastorious Bremenour, 82, of Ladson, widow of John Bremenour, died Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Summerville Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406. Mrs. Bremenour was born June 18, 1925 in Thompson #2, PA, the daughter of the late Arthur Alonzo Pastorious and Ivey Gertrude Rowan Pastorious. She attended schools in PA, graduating from Redstone High School. Continuing her education, she then graduated from Uniontown Hospital Nursing School in Uniontown, PA. For many years she worked as registered nurse at Uniontown Hospital and also as a private duty nurse. Mrs. Bremenour was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Uniontown. Surviving are: one son, Thomas S. Bremenour and his wife, Linda of Charleston, three grandchildren, Amanda Fender, Kimberly Sanders, and Tiffany Sanders, one great-grandchild, Kaleb Harris, all of Charleston, and her best friend, Pauline Wolle. Mrs. Bremenour was predeceased by one son, Mark A. Bremenour.
