GOODIN. At Bell Air, Illinois, May 21st, 1892, Sr. Harriet M. Goodin departed this life, aged 41 years, 4 months, and 16 days. She had often told her companion, Bro. 0. S. Goodin, that she would pass to the beyond first.
She gave her babe to Bro. Goodin's sister some days before she died, bore her suffering in patience, and manifested a triumphant faith; the work of God was her chief delight.
A faithful husband and six children mourn her departure, two of the children being mutes. Deep sympathy of the community was extended the bereaved; but God alone can heal, and to his grace are the bereaved commended.
