She was daughter of the late Charles W. and Nellie Davenport Falls, sister of the late James Q. and Franklin L. Falls, retired teacher from Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Stanly and Lincoln county schools, after 25 years, oldest member of First Baptist Church, secretary-treasurer for many years.
