Marguerite Pauline Carpenter was the loving daughter of Herbert Floyd Carpenter and Mary Irish, and the granddaughter of Herbert and Eliza Jennings. She was blessed with one sister, Jessie Eliza, and one brother, Herbert Floyd Jr.
Marguerite married Silas Harold Wellman on 30 January 1942 in Ashville, New York. They were blessed with three beautiful children, Judith Marlene [Hansen], Kendall Herbert and David Thomas Wellman.
