She was born on May 2, 1958, in New Castle, Ind., to Albert and Gloria Littrell. Mrs. Dykes was a resident of Walton County for the past 17 years. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Southwide Baptist Church. She worked as a security officer. She loved bull riding and horses. She was an avid animal lover, having raised Arabian horses. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
Mrs. Dykes was predeceased by her mother, Gloria Littrell.
Mrs. Dykes is survived by her father, Albert Littrell of Basin Bayou, Fla.; one son, Richard Albert Hulett of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Jennifer Sue Gess and husband James of DeFuniak Springs; one brother, Jeff Littrell of DeFuniak Springs; one sister, Cindy Brown and husband Jeff of DeFuniak Springs; and two grandchildren, Michael Hulett and Dustin Dean Gyess.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglass Hogg officiating. Floral arrangements are being accepted. Memorialization will be by cremation. Clary-Glenn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
